Sturdell Industries was formed in 1986 when founder and President, Nick Laird, saw a need in the steel plate market for someone to offer more "Value Added Services", to the Custom Mold Plate and Stamping Die markets in North America. Sturdell Industries prides itself on being the "First Ones Back" on all quotes and inquiries. In addition, Sturdell strives to lead the industry in delivery on "Value Added Services" performed at our facility. This company has supported FIRST team 340 with steel in the past and this year has stepped up to be an official sponsor.

The Paul H Maffett Family

The Paul H Maffett Family decided to become a Team 340 sponsor after years of watching the growth and excitement that being involved with FIRST brought their grandson. Looking for someway to help the program in a way they could, they left the use of their sponsorship donation in the hands of their grandson. So far this donation has helped buy buttons for both FLL and FRC teams, helped sponsor a golf tournament, and was used to promote a Regional FLL Qualifier. The Paul H. Maffett family has shown their "Born Ready" spirit through their generous support of Team 340 and all their FIRST efforts. Thank you.

Klein Steel Service has helped Team 340 with various metal needs over the last 9 years. The materials used by the teams have been put to great use, and Klein Steel also helped laser cut parts for Team 424 in 2009.

PKG Equipment worked with Team 424 in 2009 to design and fabricate the Team's hopper. This critical component would not have been possible without the help of PKG.

For the past 6 years, Qualicoat has provided Team 340 with various powder coating needs.

Fastenal has supplied Team 340 with various parts during our build season.
